Major Midget League Showcase

Over the Thanksgiving Day weekend, both teams were in action. The MML Giants travelled to Abbotsford for a series versus the North Island Silvertips. After dropping the first game to the Silvertips Saturday afternoon, the Giants came out strong Sunday morning and defeated the Silvertips 5-4.

The Giants Minor team kicked off their season on Friday with a loss in the final 19 seconds of the game versus the Greater Vancouver Canadian Minor. However, the Giants stormed back and earned victories on Saturday and Sunday to start their season with a 2-1 record.
